About the toaster:
A long time ago, there was an inside joke made by my online friends where they would keep calling me "toaster." I resisted this joke for several years, but they were really insistent, to the point where people called me Toaster more than they called me Koishi. Since everyone just called me Toaster at that point, I gave in and made it a permanent part of my identity.
About Koishi:
Yes, it's Komeiji Koishi from the Touhou series! She was the character that I originally based my online identity on, so she's a very important part of me, and I continue to call myself by her name from time to time.
