"双極性障害Ⅰ型"という精神疾患を患っているため症状を軽く安定させるために毎日薬を服用している。薬の副作用で毎日眠いため最初珈琲が苦手だったが、眠気覚ましに飲んでいるうちに好きになった。最近は自分で豆を選んで引いて入れてみたいなんて考えなくもない。病状は現在とても安定していて1日8時間労働を健常者と同じくらいにこなせるようになった。(薬を服用する前は働くこともできないくらい数日間寝たきりで躁鬱に悩まされた。自分が精神疾患持ちという事を認められなかったので薬の服用を勝手にやめては具合悪くなっての繰り返しでした)薬の副作用で眠気だけではなく滑舌の悪さや手の震えなども時々見えるが至って普通に生活している。

I suffer from bipolar disorder type I and take medication daily to alleviate and stabilize my symptoms. At first, I didn't like coffee because the medication made me sleepy every day, but as I started drinking it to stay awake, I began to like it. Recently, I've even considered picking and grinding my own beans and brewing them myself. My condition is now very stable, and I can work an eight-hour day at the same rate as a healthy person. (Before taking medication, I suffered from bipolar disorder and was bedridden for several days, unable to work.)Because I couldn't accept that I had a mental illness, I would stop taking my medication on my own and then feel worse again.) The side effects of the medication include drowsiness, slurred speech, and trembling hands at times, but I live a completely normal life.
