<When you follow me>
I read tweets with @ and (i.e. I don't follow my timeline). And I'll correct your English whenever possible (I don't read tweets while traveling). If I use MT(Modified Tweet) instead of RT in my response, that means I corrected your English.
Once corrected, I hope you don't make the same mistake. Looks like some tweeps don't pay attention to the corrected tweets and keep making the same mistakes. Making mistakes is good as long as you learn from them.
Some tweeps improved their English dramatically by tweeting in English and interacting with native speakers and me. They aren't just tweeting, but
-When they learn new expressions, they use them in their tweets. (The sooner, the better.)
-When their English is corrected, they review it and learn from it.
<If I don't respond to your tweet>
I retweet tweeps' tweets with MT most of the time so I can share with other tweeps. I use Hootsuite and quite often some tweets don't show up. (Sometimes they show up the following day.)
Also, if you don't acknowledge me after a couple of corrections, I'll stop correcting. I believe Twitter is a two-way street. If someone thinks it's one way, that's perfectly fine. I won't bother with that person.
<If you are a Twitter beginner>
You should follow people and tweet to them with @ because people don't know you exist out there. It's very likely no one is reading your tweets. You need to let the world know you exist first!
